Abstract:
Mesoporous silica microspheres have controllable morphology. Because of their large pore volume, high specific surface area, controllable and orderly mesoporous structure and good biocompatibility, mesoporous silica microspheres have been widely used in the fields of electrochemistry, electrochemical corrosion and protection, drug storage and release and other fields. The main structural characteristics, preparation methods and applications of hollow mesoporous silica microspheres were reviewed, with emphasis on their applications in electrochemistry, and the research and development direction and application prospect of hollow mesoporous silica microspheres in the future are prospected.
