Progress of Novel Lead Halide Perovskite Materials and Their Applications

Lead-halide perovskite materials had attracted much attention in solar cells, light-emitting devices and photoelectric detection because of their excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, tunable band gap, high charge mobility and large optical absorption coefficient. The preparation and physical properties of lead-halide perovskite thin films, quantum dots and single crystals were introduced. The latest research progress in solar cells, light emitting diode (LED), photodetectors and other fields were summarized. The problems in preparation and applications were discussed and the trends of the materials and devices are prospected.
